Once a staple of the artist repertoire, originally inspired by his work with Charile Carpenter, barrel stave paintings -- along with red wood shingle paintings, and possibly other products -- are about to make a comeback.
In contrast to the folk or tole art often associated with these wooden products, David maintains his realistic, fine art standards, well allowing for a wider market of buyers. The staves and shingles, make wonderful additions to the home decor, as paintings (not requiring frames) in their own right, as well as art accents at reasonable prices to fill those nooks and crannies on walls and over doors.
